Annoyed with the hair algae infestation currently growing in my cube, I have unleashed my most powerful weapon against the green menace....

I ordered 10 more Elysia Crispata... or as I like to call them, algae roombas.

I just got two for my 300...love them

Everything is moving and merging and upgrading with the move anyway. Breaking down the 4g into the cube soon. After the move the big cade becomes a bigger peninsula. The cube cade switches inhabitants, and I'm thinking about changing the 4g to a 10ish cube.
When are you moving?

The question of the week. We signed with builders April '22. They quoted us May23 to Sept23. We reached out to see if they have an updated timeline since plumbing is for sure done and we already met with electric about everything so HVAC & electric should be soon (in theory). After that inspection, it's drywall and then all the interior bs. Essentially, when should we start getting **** together on our end....

Their response was "we might hit Sept, it might take longer"

we Can give our clients a definite closing date usually 45 prior to the completion date. Everything before that is kind of a estimate. It’s gotten worse the last two years with supply chain disruptions.

Sounds about right. My sister is having a house built and it is the same thing. With her, I decided to be the "Lender", as she has a crap credit score, but that will change once some personal things with her ex are finalized in court. In short, they split, he racked up a ton of debt, forged her sig and her 812 credit went to very bad. She got the building loan with that credit, but when they run the check again when close to actually close, it will mess her all up. So there will be no close when built for her. House will be mine and then I will sell it to her when her score rebounds. Seriously screwed up situation. So now I get updates on the building progression and supply chain stuff is crap.

More time to plan and gather the necessary supplies for the tank. Positive vibes.

I get that, which is why we asked for an updated timeline so we can figure out the logistics on our end - not a set date. Just, are we still looking out to Sept, is it more likely July time frame, can we narrow it down to anything less than a 7 month window?

We already had to fight with the bank since they quoted us 18 months to begin with, the bank told us we get charged full mortgage + fees once we pass that but they initially only wanted to do 12 months. The builders have communicated ZERO extra delays on their end, and told us they were only quoting out to Sept due to delays prior years to be on the safe side initially. We have that in email. Now they're telling us the inspections are taking forever (every filed inspection has occurred within 2 days, we can view that on the county site), the trusses were delayed (the head contractor specifically told us 'yeah we were lucky there were no delays with the trusses when we ordered yours, that was holding us up with other builds' when we ran into him once up there), etc.

They also told us initially we'd receive communication on any delays in supply chain, etc so that we'd know what was going on "every step of the way". We've heard nothing until now and they're acting like everything has been delayed and how dare we ask if there's an update on anything. We get communication on other builds all the time asking to meet for x or y or to confirm change orders that aren't ours. Personally, it feels like they're too disorganized to even expect things to move smoothly.

Not really, I'm not gathering more things I have to store so that at this rate we get a week notice that the house is ready for closing and we have to scramble to pack and move and sell.

FL everything is worse, I can assure you
On the West coast yes. I get weekly updates on my Sis house in Martin County. County code there has a ton of protections for the buyers and slams the builders if they do not follow them.

When I had a house built years back on the west coast, it was a pain then. And that was without supply chain issues.
