just finished watching “Puff: Wonders of the Reef” on Netflix. It’s from 2021 and I have no idea how I missed it before now. In any case, I think it was quite good and, for anyone that hasn’t seen it, I recommend it.

I also thought Puff was going to be a bit bigger until I saw the other small fish lol.

While the winds were not as high and visibility was not significantly reduced for as long a period of time, an eerily similar scenario played out exactly 4 years later in Chicago:

If you are talking about the bacterials "rip clean", does not apply. That is more of a call it that to mess with someone, as what they are discussing is increasing biodiversity to stop things that a rip clean just removes and then comes back later.

Add carbohydrates or some other bacteria fuel to aid "good" bacteria to grow and outcompete things like cyano or algae.

Well, sort of. One person (whom I know very well) is doing s slightly different approach and using other things to provide the carbs while also adding a simple Nitrogen to the mix (ammonia).

I am tempted to get in on the testing, as it has been dabbled into about Dinos and this helping to rid them with some other stuff being employed. Being as I have some Dinos still in the 7' tank, may be worth it to provide some data to the conversation. Still not sure on if I want to invest the time though, as they are going away, as I finally have detectable nutrients from day to day now.

With you if any thing plain tortillas with salsa or quac but only at the local Mexican place. As for donuts, well, we have a place called Spudnuts. They use potato flour in the mix and omg best thing ever. But just had these little fried pieces of heaven in NOLA. Also a must try.

Well, the OP and others are dosing Reef Actif and that's that. If your person, whom you know very well (so you say) is not following along then la-ti-frickin-da!

They are adding a different test to the mix to compare data. SO moo-hoo-boo-boo.
