I don't believe they do. I had mine in the most shady spot(100-150 par) with medium flow. I admittedly had some alk fluctuations that may have prompted it's recent struggles.

Some goniopora species are far more aggressive than others. Not even all goniopora can be placed near each other. I forget who is the killer in the family.

What is that?

the colored goni's seem to be more potent, a red will even hold back a green.

I cannot say its alcicornis. Could be.
The amount of eyes are throwing me off.
Alcicornis will have eyes here and there. Most pectinias are fragged at every available eye present. I say keep it. Let it grow out.

Took those from corals of the world website. I know there's other species.

Would be nice if people would let things grow out.

Edit: you had 2 alcicornis. Mine and scratche's.
