Sorry about your torch! I hate polyp bailout.
Yea, the here today gone tomorrow. On a bit of good news, my Blenny seems fine. I gave a little extra feeding tonight and he ate with his usual gusto. It might be that I had moved the rocks that he’d been hanging around to the back.

So I’m trying an experiment today. For the foreseeable future I’ve chanded up the lights so that I’m not running with any whites and bumped the blues a bit. Also slight increase on red&green, so as to minimize the disco look. Maybe it’s subjective but already only an hour or so later , the corals seem to have extended a bit more and colors on the ones that glow in blue is really nice.

I run super low whites. I think at peak I'm 10% white, 100% blue and UV, 35% green, and 20% red.

Looks very similar to Steve's! My last AquaSD sale I got a frag of GSP as a freebie. My wife was super excited. One of her favorites.
I got a Zoa as my freebie with an auction sale from them , apparently they have tons of the one I got in-store. And then the Cyphastrea this last time. Before my disastrous move accident with the shorted heater, I had a copper Cyphastrea starting to encrust on a frag holder on the side of the tank. I like em but they do grow pretty slowly.

Oh goodness, what’re your plans to keep those little dogies corralled? By the way I’m really liking the Alve, definitely consider a few more if this one keeps getting happier.

They have an island with the other 4 frags.

Alveopora are supposedly easier than Gonis. I've only lost 1 of my 3 Alveopora in the year and a half that I've had them and it was the smallest and never fully opened so I don't think it was ever happy in my tank. I've also lost 4 Gonis out of 16 since I started. All of them seem happy in the 125 though so there was something about the 75 they didn't like.

My ASD alveopora is one of my longest lived corals and looks great. One of my wife's favorites. And that's been through some tough parameter swings, dinos, GHA invasions (wave after wave). It's a great coral for low-mid light intensity areas of the tank.

Mine sit at the bottom of the tank.

Well I decided to keep the whites at 1% for the daylight hours. Since I don’t have the second wavemaker at the moment, I’ve moved the Nero 5 to a central location on the right side. I think the corals have been appreciative of the changes, but it’s still only a couple days into this. Also my tank remains pretty furry. Going to buy a bunch of distilled water later this week as a temp solution. Also more snails for cuc, would love a couple sand sifter dukes as well.

And I went all in and got a 200 gallon mix bag with the AquaForest salt as my corals seem to like it better than the Reef Crystals.

So now into day three of my blue experiment. It along with changing the flow patterns seems to starting make a difference. Some of the Gonis are extending out more and other corals like my Alveopora and Micromussa are looking really good. My Acan mini colony seems nice and happy puffy and my new Acans are looking ready to place . Frogspawn is looking good which makes me happy as they’re favs of mine. Some of the shots were taken at feeding so some corals have their polyps poppin

Full tank and others inc lauding updated pics of the glitter tip Gonis . Man they are beautiful. And finally remounted my Duncans on a couple small rocks that were available.
