Like the title states, My Horn shark laid an egg! I came home from work today and noticed it. Now to find her a mate so she can make fertilized eggs.

Really? I was there on Saturday and I could have sworn she said "horn". There were two different kinds in the tank.

It's been a week since I've been there, but when I was it was a Port Jackson. The PJ looks the same as a Horn shark but with a black band fron head to tail.

Talk to Dick over at Tropicorium, they have some experience in breeding sharks, and Horn shark's are one of them.

Man, your shark must be pretty old. When do they become mature?

Just how big is your tank, James?

I have 2 tanks both 6' my horn shark is about 2 feet in length and the tanks I have are 135 and 155 bowfront. I need to either re-home her or get a larger tank for her.
