With everything that I’ve read cycling a Bare-Bottom tank with Dry Base Rock will be very difficult but it’s what I want, so not much chance of talking me out of it. I’m anticipating it taking twice as long if not longer to cycle. (Please let it cycle)
1. The tank is a new Innovative-Marine 40L AIO with an ETA of two days from now.
2. I’ve purchased Dr. Tim’s “One and Only” along with his Ammonium Chloride Solution.
3. 100 LBS of Base Rock from Addictive Reef Keeping, not sure yet how much I’ll be able to use? Putting my aquascaping skills to the test. (Pics to follow)
4. 1 gallon of Marine Pure 1.5” Bio Filter Spheres to be put in meshed bags in back chamber.
5. Marine Master Bluetooth Multiparameter Photometer HI97115 for accurate testing. (No color charts for me)
