I think it's Bluetooth only but I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure it works with the app though.

Here is the r2r thread for the 2024 stuff from them
I said f it and bought it

Got the inside of the stand painted. I also painted where the tank sits. Although the goal is no leaks I definitely tend to get things wet around the tank….including the stand …and you know stuff happens….

Still need to stain the outside of the stand….might work on that tonight might not….

Lots of things to sort out
Plumbing - all the parts - return pump has been ordered….but still need all the other stuff to actually plumb the tank…

Sand - lots of sand needed

Rocks….need more rocks so I can figure out a scape….need to figure out HOW I want to scape the tank……

My brain hurts

Buying the plumbing parts will be fun….im thinking I’m going to go with sch 80 just so I can use grey plumbing…..

Thinking soft plumbing from the return…..

I will be splitting the return feed into 2

Lots of unions /valves, to make it easy to disassemble ,and reassemble without cutting any pipe/spilling water... ;)

Plus side is the overflow will plumb straight down into the tank. The return is the only thing that needs to be routed.

Definitely need to sort out the how’s of the return

Doggie!!

Did you know it’s national dog day?? Neither did I until my BF told me. He said go give our dogs extra love! And I asked “why those butt$$$$ are lazy! All they do is mooch off of us.”

Is that a gerbil?

You know where those things like to hide right??

I use flex PVC or PEX always just remember if you use PEX it's better to oversize it
Current tank has vinyl- but light causes it to grow algae….

I look into both the flex PVC and PEX….

No its a hamster and it’s my daughters. Clementine is my puppy and she already gets all the love because she is the best.

If you go with flex pvc get a cheap heat gun it will help to remove the natural curve from the rolls they keep it in. The stuff they use for pools and hot tubs is the most durable and prevents you from needing big bends that restrict flow

Hamster Gerbils same difference - pretty sure their was a South Park episode about that

Yes I did this with the vinyl tubing!

I will drop the return lines using hard pvc down below the stand before bringing them together into a Y …..

The overflow lines will drop straight into the sump…..the main line I’m thinking of using a gate valve that has unions . I also plan on putting a union above the stand.

I also need buy or build a cabinet to hold electronics and the ADJ PC-100s.

I have a few other ideas rolling around in my head but until I get the sump in the stand I won’t know exactly how much space I have to play with
