I have been running consistent number for the past week and longer
The big three are steady and I have my dosing set at 16 ml of 1+2+3+ with a auto water change. Some will say that I should not need dose, but I have a few corals in the system and my consumption is more than what the auto water change and salt can offer. The one thing I have found though is that I have not dosed Mg and mix 3+ Mg free. My system has been up and down since April, and would say that once the corals grown larger my consumption with increase and my dosing will go up and I will have to add Mg to the mix.

I have been running my nutrients low on purpose to try to get rid of the cyano for good. Some of the corals are not happy and I will increase feeding by sunday at the latest. I have been running zero phosphates for the past week and my nitrates are down. The nitrate are at there lower they have been in a long time at 2.5. This is with dirty filter socks and a dirty skimmer cup.

Well the number are were they should be but the corals are stressed after dropping the nutrient level to try to starve out the cyano

I am just going to clean the skimmer every morning and change the filter socks more often.

LOL, it looks I have to feed 1.5 teaspoons a day right now to keep the nutrients balanced.

I hear you. I'm struggling with high nitrate and low phosphate.

It's the nitrate that has me worried. My chaetomorpha isn't growing fast enough to soak it up. Might change my fuge light to see if it helps.

I have always run dirty water, phosphate on the high side and nitrates also as high as a 10 ppm with no issue. I was running 0 phosphates for about two weeks and the corals are not happy and bleaching. The cyano battle has me frustrated for the past year and a half

Yep, I started to notice my caps paling pretty quick and I started a thread on them paling. Someone stated that it sounded like I was phosphate limited. I hadn't tested P04 in months leading up to this. Sure enough, Hannah checker came back 0.00!

Thing is, as much as Ive dosed in the past three days, all of it is getting soaked up. At first I was able to get it up to 0.08 and since it has dropped out even with 25ml a day! Corals look better though.

That is were I was at. I stepped up feeding my mix. I need to check in two or three days to see where the phosphates are at. The nitrates are staying low.

Sounds like a plan! I haven't dosed any P04 in a couple days and last test showed 0.00!

I can say that my N03 did come down with dosing, but it's only a temporary fix. Seriously looking into a sulfur reactor set up.
