Chris does the tank come with the return bulkheads? if so are they slip or threaded? by the way is that Sea Foam Green

Tank comes drilled....does not come with bulkheads. So you can choose slip, threaded, both, whatever you like.

The color is called "ocean whisper". Now don't you feel more relaxed after reading "ocean whisper"? I know I do.

My wife has a beach vibe going into this room.

Tank and stand looks awesome !! following along..... I'm considering ordering a tank from reef savvy so should I anticipate around 6-9 months for delivery? Their tanks looks great and I'm sure its worth the wait but I would need to do some serious planning if I ordered a tank.

The wait was long. But well worth it. Felix's tanks are second to none....believe that!

Awesome setup, can't wait to see it progress. 10 AM really isn't to early to drink, you just need a good reason.

Whew! Took awhile, but I finally got this graffiti scrubbed off my tank.
But i liked the graffiti. Gave it a personal touch.

I ran out of black pvc. Gonna have to order a bit more from BRS.

But here's my plumbing so far:

The outer 2 pipes are the return lines. The middle 3 are the bean animal style drains from the ghost overflow. First drain will be the full siphon with a Spears gate valve. Second drain will be the open channel. Third drain will be the emergency channel.

Connected the 2 returns and attached a Cepex ball valve.

Tough to see but this is how the returns are plumbed.

I installed unions all over this thing so it can be fairly easily disassembled.

Gonna hang the lights after the plumbing is done. I've got 2 down rods and cover plates normally used for ceiling fans. Instead of fans (obviously), I'm going to hang the light box from them. The rods are hollow and I have romex in the attic that will run through one of the rods and wire into a couple outlets hidden in the light box. This way, you won't see any wires or cords.

Edit: the downrod won't be nearly that long. I'll cut it to length when I figure out how high I want the lights.

I LOVE the lighting idea. Will be a super clean look!
