Ok he had discussed the styrofoam with me also and I noticed that BRS 160 used the neoprene. It's looking great. Glass trim is a really nice touch

I wrote to them about the 1/8" neoprene foam (with a link to it) and they told me that was fine to use - but I don't have the phantom bottom. Not sure Katiria actually asked Felix, or not. I will check again though, to be sure.

The stand is looking awesome!

Thanks to everyone who helped with the tank move today: @Rob.D, @seased, @Eric W, @parroki, @Mark75, @Trey B

@dkccampbell and I got the backer board and tile on this afternoon. Also mounted the trim around the tile.

This week's to do list:
Fill in the holes, sand, and paint the trim.
Grout
Plumb
Finish the light box, hang, and wire it into the attic.

Won't be long before it's wet!

Looks good, sorry I couldn't make it but sometimes things get in the way of a good time. Anxious to see it with water in it.

When I first looked at the picture of it on the stand with the wrap on it. It looked liked the tank cracked and my heart dropped.

Love it can't wait to see this evolve even further

Glad it finally found it's way home. Looking forward to watching it come to life!

I ordered last May, so I figure I am still a few months out. Trying not to think about it. Did they deliver it in a tractor trailer, or a smaller liftgate truck? They will never get a tractor trailer down my street. Low power lines and a narrow, dead end street. Nowhere to turn around and a busy street at the intersection. Would be a major pain, if even possible. Guess I better get that figured out. :-(

Sorry for the late reply.

It was delivered via tractor trailer with a liftgate. However, it was pulling one of the smaller trailers.

But yeah, you better start formulating a plan.

After you figure out how it will get TO your house, then you need to figure out how it will get IN to your house. The delivery services Felix uses technically is "curbside only".

Fortunately, I have straight and easy access to my garage from the street. I was very polite to the gentleman delivering my tank, and tipped him very well. In-kind, he was more than willing to put it into my garage and let me thoroughly inspect the tank before signing off on the delivery.

Opening the crate took a little longer than I anticipated. That's because there are 13,674,312 screws in the crate. LOL! The crate is built like a tank…top notch and rock solid. Felix does not skimp on anything. Make sure you have scissors and a drill with a Phillips head ready to go.

Hope that helps. I'm following your build as well, so it will be interesting to see how it goes down for you. Good luck.

Thanks for answering my question and the shopping list of tools to have handy. :) It is apparent at this point that the tank will need to be delivered elsewhere and then transported to my house in a smaller vehicle. Another delay. Ha! I will be following your build as well. Looking great so far.

Looks great Chris, was wondering do you have some type of slides attaches to the bottom of your stand to facilitate moving it back and forth while you plumb it, and if so what did you use
