So I would have to give up mobius? Well that sucks. I want both lol.
Unfortunately, yes. It's one or the other.

When pumps started shipping as mobius ready, people were concerned that they'd lose controlability with what they were familiar with, so ecotech provided a path backwards.

They're 2 different sets of software, so you can't have the best of both worlds. Hehe

I can definitely see how WXM and MXM can be confusing. Hopefully you didn't lose too much money learning this lesson.

WXMs are still sought after, you probably won't have a hard time selling it, if you choose to.

I picked it up for $40. Guess what I need to do is find an MXM and I can then have the best of both worlds.

Does anyone know if this has been added yet? I am looking at the MXM for my MP60s but do not want it if it cannot add the features that Mobius has.

Anti-sync and Back have not been added. It’s unfortunate

The Versas have also not been added along with some other gen lights.

The Versas likely will never be added. Cannibalizes the DOS if we can Trident control the Versas.

They might have achieved that with the sky lights since radions can be controlled with the mxm. They should just come out with their own version of the versas. Or better yet a four head doser like ghl has.

I don't necessarily think it has anything to do with market share or overlapping of similar products.

I think it has everything to do with compatibility. All the features that make versa unique is probably what makes it difficult to integrate into fusion.

I'm sure if they were willing to dumb down versa and bring it in line with dos, there'd be community uproar. I for one, don't want to see tdata code for versa, I'd want to be able to utilize all the functions we've come to rely on.

The delay could mean 2 things, they're tirelessly working towards integration, or they realized it's too difficult and is quietly trying to let this one go.

I personally think they shouldn't have released mxm until sync/anti-sync was solved and versa integration was achieved. But when they have all that time, money and resources tied into the product, it gets harder to justify to the bean counters to sit on it until it's ready, especially when a solution is far away. Plus it was shaping up to be another trident episode of delinquent promises, missed deadlines.

It was Trident level bad and Neptune's absolute silence did nothing to help once again. Not to mention all the bugs that somehow showed up even after MONTHS of beta testing.

IMO, nobody in their right mind is picking the loud DOS over a Versa if we can control the Versa with the Trident results. What is funny to think about is that you can swap out the Neptune board on a DOS for a GHL board and the pumps are quiet. Telegraham has talked about this in the past. Maybe we will see a DOSQD soon??? :winking-face-with-tongue:

That doesn't surprise me. The driver is what makes stepper motors queit.

A lot of times a software update can silence the motors, but I'm sure what ever Neptune used, they must not be able to solve the issue without hardware replacement.

If they decide to come out with a 2nd gen, then it would also need to incorporate gear reduction so that they can operate with less current and run continuously without needing a cool down period.

Well mxm just had an update in Fusion. Aswell as in Mobius. According to the update notes it is only for AI's new pumps. They now have sync and anti-sync capabilities. Nothing in the notes about versa or MP sync and anti-sync.

Supposedly, they are working on adding it to the MP's as well. I am not sure the Versa's will ever be supported.

I just updated mine and the MPs are now supported with anti sync
Did you have to update the MXM firmware as well? I updated the APEX but don't see an option to update the MXM module yet, and still no sync / anti option?
