How could that be if my other corals and inverts are thriving?

No matter what the explanation is, one could reasonably ask that same question, right?

It's obviously a relatively specific issue of some sort. Usually that means its not a toxic chemical issue.

Are you sure no fish or other organism is picking at them? Maybe check them at night.

How long had those mushrooms been in the tank?

I haven’t added anything to the tank in a long time but I will check at night to be sure.

Had the mushrooms since last year.

I stopped dosing AFR and my system consumed 1.0dkh alkalinity. I’ll retest again tomorrow, same time, and confirm.

I agree that that is allot of all for reef with that size tank. Was doing 12 ml in my 60G and now at 70 in my 500G. Also remember that AFR takes 24 hours to full react. So pretty easy to overdose if you get ahead of the curve..
