Midnight clownfish swimming out of control!

I’ve learnt that symptoms of Ichthyophonus can describe what is happening to my clownfish. However, I have not seen a cure or advice on medication or treatment for this parasite.

Anyone know about this?

Ichthyophonus is very intolerant of salinity ime. It is actually how I treat most fish in freshwater.

Could an internal parasite or fluke near a nerve ending or otolith(how vertebrates sense gravity) cause this?

There is a treatment section:

Nitrofurazone (Furan 2) combined with AAP Super Ich Plus or ParaGuard for in tank treatment.
Methylene Blue, sodium chloride, along with Super Ich Plus or ParaGuard in a Fish Bath
And Metronidizole & praziquantel as part of a fish food soak.

Further down the article it mentions Naladixic Acid which specifically calls out cichlids and discus. So I doubt it would work in SW.

I have prazipro, metro and paraguard on hand! Hard to believe that my paraguard will actually be useful for something LOL.

The clownfish will have to wait 8 days though as I’m now travelling for work. Hopefully she can tough it out.
