I have a 18 year old 120 gallon saltwater fish & mixed reef system. I mounted 2 - 250 watt Metal Halides and 4 T5’s (2 Actinic & 2 Daylight Bulbs). I’ve had LSP, SPS, corals that have done really well. So, I’m replacing the whole system and have been considering LEDs. But, oh how my head hurts…I’m so confused, please help. What LED lights will replace my current lighting system.

Radion xr15-xr30 g6 would be my choice for expensive, Viparspetra 165 for cheaper lights. I would keep the t5 for fill light

I am guessing you are having issues keeping the MHs going? Bulbs ballasts? Looking to reduce energy costs?

Quick advice. Keep the T5s and replace the MH with two radions. This will give you similar coverage and spread to what you had before without too many headaches. The T5s will overcome the potential shadowing and other disadvantages of LEDs versus MHs.

And... with LEDs (versus MHs), the main thing is don't play with the spectrum or intensity too much and avoid bizarre settings. Once you have it set - leave it.

The AB+ setting for the radions is one I really like and has been thoroughly tested by other reefers. Again, avoids needing to over think anything.
