When you had the spin streams on the return, were those loud? I just added two today and immediately noticed how loud they were.

Yes very! But they eased off pretty quick. By morning they were way quieter and then I took them off when I got home that afternoon because the flow wasn't working for me. I read a lot about them being loud and that they will shut up after a break-in period.

Well out of the options you listed in your first post, the Nero 5 seems awesome. I just got an MP10 for my 30l and was thinking of getting a second. With the Nero you will have so much extra power lol.

I am going to use two MP10s on my 30L. I like the idea of having it from both sides and being able to adjust instead of one overpowered ph on one side.

Does it come with a mesh top of some sort to limit the possibility of fish carpet surfing?

Almost ready for an update. Finally got the Tunze 6040 and its just not going to work out how I was hoping, the powerhead search continues I guess. Will be selling the 6040 if anyone is interested.

The pump itself is great I just can't find a place for it in the tank. I was hoping to hide it behind the rock BUT it is just to large to do that in my case. Not that the pump is large because it definitely isn't. It just wont work for what I wanted to accomplish.

Corals are doing great. I had a slight mishap with my doser and the alk was pretty high which caused a few things(sps) to start bleaching. They are coloring back up fast and I picked up a polyp lab lens kit so i can finally get some decent pics with my phone.

Finally got the Tunze 6040 nestled into an acceptable spot! My Icecap battery back up does not work with it though so...oh well I will be getting the Tunze 6105.500 and some sort of battery. The EZ Reefing Solutions "EX Water Level Adjuster kit is awesome and allowed me to get the water level just where I want it! I also got the Spin Streams worked out. Plugged them onto the lines and then pushed the little plastic couplers through the back wall so they sat further back and they work/look much better now. I have also added a Jebao DP2 doser to dose Ocean's Blend 2 Part. I have also started dosing RedSea Reef Energy A and B.

Last thing before the pics, A big shout out to Aqua Illuminations customer support. The UV on one of my primes is acting up and after just a few emails they have a new light on the way!

How are the rock flower anemones? I am thinking about one for my tank but am worried about them reproducing. Any special care tips?

I have never had one actually reproduce and have had them(not these specific ones but others) in every tank. They are great little anemones that add some pop! They will move around until they find a good spot but they have always stayed low in the tank for me.
