Haha @reefermadnes5 it’s all yours unless you are not interested. I have a box from algae barn ready to go whenever you want me to ship it. He won’t kill fish. Only inverts. At least that what the people told me at Tampa bay saltwater.

thats makes me happy. Sadly i lost the pistol shtlrimp repacment argument. The wife is all too right that the watchman goby is not acting normal without his pistol. The pistol shrimp gets replaced and the 10 gallon i set up gets turned into an amphipod hotel.

Thank you so much though for getting me to set up the other tank and put it to use. I used half the sand i bought and put in some bubblers instead of the HOB 20240423_050925.jpg

Do you have any rocks down in the sump for it? The TBS mantis in my refugium never really leaves his rock. I hear him smashing every now and then but he is working on hollowing out his rock. He has holes he pokes out from to keep lookout.

still, having the problem with the pale damselfish? If not how did you color him up?
He’s peaceful so far just a little aggressive/excited when it’s food time. Color remains the same, mostly a pale yellow with some blue in the top of the head. How is yours doing

Sorry for the late response. If you haven't rehomed him yet, I plan on getting a yellow watchman goby soon and I think they'll end up being good buddies, hopefully keeping him away from the glass... hopefully. lol
I think you’re thinking of a pistol shrimp! Mantises don’t have those mutual relationships with gobies like pistols do

@Hadla if you check the shipping costs and sent me the cash I’ll send it over asap. Just let me know. Also guys this isn’t a pistol shrimp/goby post. I want to keep this related to getting this mantis shrimp a home. So if you need to talk about anything else not related to the mantis please start a new thread.

Thanks you
