I Know that I feed a lot so my nitrates and phosphates tend to be higher than normal, So I go throug a lot of these task kits, testing for those parameters.

I am hoping to keep a stable reef tank using back pack equipment and no sump. To do this correctly I will need to keep a close eye on my water parameters. I have always wanted Hanna Testers, I have only heard good things especially the Alk tester.

I want to be able to keep my alkalinity, salinity and calcium levels as stable as possible and with these instruments I believe I will be able to achieve this.
Testing water parameters is part of good reefkeeping. Hanna instruments have excelent feedback in the reef community. A quality refractometer is also key to keep stable salinity levels.

Liked. My problem seem to be a fuzzy algae problem and salinity issues! I new to hobby and don’t have reliable test supplies yet, I am actually saving up for some Hanna checkers because my API test kits are garbage and I already had issues with a failed reagent giving inaccurate results. And being that I don’t hav a ATO yet at the moment as well my tank is evaporating rather quickly and would want a better way the quickly check salinity other then my plastic salinity measure

Want to have a more stable ALK, and PH
I have the calcium checker. I love it and would love to have that rest of my levels more accurate as well.
I test nitrates daily with 3 different test to make sure and this would make my life much easier.
I love everything except tearing the package powder.
Phosphorus KIT doesn’t have the timing right. The meter turned off before the test done.
I have Phosphate Test, Phosphorus ULR, Calcium and Alkalinity KIT. I love the Alkalinity the best. These KITs make my life very easy(the time for tearing powder packages is not counted)
