Magnificent Fox Spots

Posted recently about some spots on my Purple Tang and those have since cleared up but noticed some spots last week on the mag fox and im noticing more now...swims and eats normal, no flashing. Everyone else in the tank looks really good, no issues at all. Fox was QT. Black ich? Not sure.

Rabbit is skinny and the spots are either hyper-melanization or urchin puncture wounds but hard to tell as more light and clarity is needed. Pics fuzzy and need to be under brighter white lighting

he eats like a pig too...I have auto feeder 3x a day, sheet of nori a day and frozen per day...see photos!

I agree, the fish’s nape is a bit pinched. Nori adds a lot of bulk, but little fat or protein. Try adding frozen mysids or feed more pellets.

The skin spots seem too numerous to be injuries, but they also aren’t as distinct as “black ich”, turbellarians look like.

I suspect ich or mucus cones but again - Need bright white lighting - No Blue to better see the spots

These are mucus cones likely stemmed from an irritation of skin and mixed in with ich. Often with this, others will show no signs but do keep an eye on them.
Treat this fish in a separate tank using coppersafe at therapeutic level 2.25 for a FULL 30 days (do not interrupt this 30 day period) monitored by a reliable Copper Test kit such as Hanna Brand- No API brand. Also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone.
