The Imperator is not doing Great at all...Peeling skin and heavy breathing...hmmmmmmm

I TESTED THE WATER....PLS HELP the Imperator wont last any longer....Would Prime work for the NITRITE??

Am using RedSea Marine Lab Kit...

Problem!!
Nitrate - 5.0
Nitrite - 0.5

ok!!
Ammonia - 0
Ph - 8.3
Alk - High

The first thing you need to do it takes the sponges that are in your fuge out and give them a sniff. If they stink toss them in the trash. If they don't keep an eye on them for the new month or so to make sure they're not decaying. Next, I'd suggest a water change of at least 25%, 50% would probably be better but make sure the PH, temp, and salinty are all fairly close to the display water. Don't add anything to the tank for at least a few weeks and let things stabilize. My other concern is that you just don't have a good enough protein skimmer and that you're lacking enough live rock (is that even live rock?) to have sufficient biological filtration with the type of fishload you're heading for. It's a little late for adding more live rock unless you are absoutely sure it's completely cured, but the skimmer is something you could upgrade and have great benefits from.

Many of the fish you're adding are not for inexperienced hobbyists. Powder Brown Tangs, Anthias, Seahorses, Tilefish, Butterflies, etc. are not easy fish to keep and even when experienced they should not be added to new setups. In addition to that the chances of them being healthy net caught fish are slim, especially considering they're going for cheap in the Philippines. Mandarins/Dragonettes are fish that should really only be kept singly with large amounts of live rock in a very established tank. You need to start reseraching each fish you want to purchase before you purchase it. If you don't start doing that research and don't slow down a little you're just going to find yourself frustrated and killing a lot of fish, and you're not going to have much fun in this hobby if that is the case.

Lastly, and most importantly, SLOW DOWN. This hobby rewards patience and will quickly chew up and spit out those who lack it. Good luck and keep us updated on how things are going.

Cool tanx...Well it's all calmed down now and the water is crystal CLEAR  ...neway yeah i lost the Imperator as i said...the Pyramids are doing awesome and are pigs now...the Anthias Byebye as well, i just couldn't get them to eat...the Tilefish are ok i guess?? i'm yet to get DT's because i know there planktavores, and the sea horse have pecked a little bit of the BS i've hatched....and my New Skimmer should be on it's way (RIGHT MARV?!:hammer: )...and yeah i do admit that there is no such thing as LR where i am in the philippines hehe...i have to go to the main city to get them, but was too scared to get rocks from them bcuz i was too afraid of what kind of shizzle might be in there...Just like NSW?? hmmm now i'm going to go step up and buy some NSW, i mean they are FROM THERE :D ...i'm also going to get LR and cure it myself to prevent what i've been afraid of (a breakout)...tanx again....

BTW my zoa's are slowly starting to open up...neone IDENTIFY THEM??
