Mornin. It’s been awhile and I’m so sorry. I don’t mean to stay out of touch, I just have a lot going on all the time and I get forgetful lol

So the reef is still going. But I don’t feel you can call it a reef. XD

My calurpa has exploded though. The zoas I bought closed and died. The zoas I got for the can drive are doing ok. So odd. The toadstool is meh. It opens but looks strange. One of the rock flowers got so annoyed by the calurpa that it went to the back. The other you can’t see. The GSP died. I have stopped RODI water and it seems the dinos are starting to thin out. The skimmer finally settled down enough for the cup to be put back on.

My levels are:
Ammo:0
Nitrite:0
Nitrate: very dark pink so who knows (Red Sea)
Phosphate:0
Alk: 7.5
Sal: 32

I’ll redo phosphate today because that just seems odd to me.

But we aren’t here for chatter we wanna see what a dumpster fire looks like, amirite? lol. I have to say that at this point I’m ok with the calurpa just growing into a giant mat.

I’m planning some sand and I still am planning a tear down and rescape and scrub down would be a good thing.

Oh. I also discovered the R24 led has three of the blues going out. I planned to sell that as well as the one working powerhead and the Bluetooth module to get sand with but I guess it’s a spare now. The kessil looks better so no biggie. It’s always nice to have spare things and if I have to move the fish I’ll at least have a way to keep them happy.

Oh! I haven’t seen the goby or heard the shrimp. That is one reason I want to do a tear down, because I’m worried. But you literally can’t see cause the calurpa has cemented the sand with their roots. It’s growing up the walls

I've got the same capulera in my dwarf pony tank, doing well there too so I can't see many ponies.

We have a new pet supplies plus and it’s super local. I can see myself getting into a lot of trouble. They offered me a job over the fish but I declined due to my current boss being a bit whiny over things like that. I get it, he’s three and emotions are hard.

I did a stint with them part time. Not a bad gig and the perks were really worth it. You may be able to get sw fish ordered in as well. I got a few of mine that way

It would be a very fun job. But being a granny is better

Cleaning the sump yesterday/ finishing today. I’m not able to pull it out to scrub so a wipe down in it will have to do. Rather, I’m scared to disassemble the drain pipes in fear of breaking something. Anywho I figured that would be my waterchange this week. The “dead man’s fingers that’s in the display, I’m thinking of tossing in the sump. I have my R24 light as a spare. I could probably stick it under the cabinet.

I discovered three of the blues are out on it I had thought of selling it and my last wave pump to get some other things I’d like to have like possible a better wave pump in the display. I may just place the working wave pump in there too. Since I have to use the Bluetooth module for the light.

Also, I saw this lid from Amazon. It’s magnetic and it’s mesh. I’m thinking I can get that and eventually a wrasse. Has anyone ever used them? I’m curious if it’s strong enough for the wild bettas too lol. I can definitely redo the rubra if so.
