There’s a spawn in the works lol. They compliment each other nicely. The finnage will need work but that’s ok.

What phone? Was able to catch the little guy. Atlas (my Mac) is stressed now that I’ve been messing in his tank. I’ll monitor and probably turn lights off for him or at least dim the tank. They can be quite susceptible to velvet when stressed so need to be proactive on that. I have the albi in my three gallon, that’s only got about three inches of water. He’s swimming good. Was nose down in Atlas’ tank. Will check when I get home in a few hours and add more water and the pump to give him flow if he’s still swimming nicely.
I haven’t forgotten this is a reef thread. So here’s some blue eye candy lol. I’ll get a lemse
Filter one of these days lol.
The one for these was my husbands. It’s a Samsung Galaxy A10? Something like that. Mines an iPhone XR. It’s not near as good with pics. What phone?
You can put the Galaxy in Pro or Manual mode and adjust the white balance up as close to 10,000k as you can get for a temporary fix. Not as good as filters, but close! The one for these was my husbands. It’s a Samsung Galaxy A10? Something like that. Mines an iPhone XR. It’s not near as good with pics.
I think you're referring to her bettas. Are those mollies? How long have you had thwm in saltwater? I cant get mine to live past about 4 months in saltwater
Yeah these are bettas they’re wild species of bettas though so nothing you’d find in most pet stores. Are those mollies? How long have you had thwm in saltwater? I cant get mine to live past about 4 months in saltwater
This is good to know! I’ll have to play around with his phone to see if I can figure that out lol. Thanks! You can put the Galaxy in Pro or Manual mode and adjust the white balance up as close to 10,000k as you can get for a temporary fix. Not as good as filters, but close!
Oh ok i see. The black ones are not good. I have had about 25 over a year and down to 4 and i have tried them all and and diffrent acclimation. The creamsickle lyre tail seem to be the best but they all last around 4 months tops. As opposed to saltwater fish that i have had for 7 yrsYeah these are bettas they’re wild species of bettas though so nothing you’d find in most pet stores.
I’ve thought of trying mollies in my salt tank but I was told it’s very species dependent (like I believe sail fins don’t do as well as the black ones? I forget which) but my local reef store does have some saltwater mollies, and I may get from them.
I think I heard that Creamsickle and Marbles so the best...?Oh ok i see. The black ones are not good. Starting to, it seems no stray current.Speaking of, how's everything going??? Did you figure out if you had stray current? Things starting to get squared away, right?
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, dear reef……happy birthday to you! *smooches*
Today the tank turns four! Not the inhabitants, I’ve had some longer and some not as long.
I feel like it needs a birthday prezzie. But I sadly cannot. Think a piece of cake would be ok? (I kid I kid!)
Yesterday I changed the hinges out. Had issues where they were rusting, and Waterbox sent me a new set. I tried to lube em up with petroleum jelly as per suggestions and they rushed yet again. Well the old set I had removed the rust. They’re still quite unsightly but better. Will de rust this set and put up for the next switch out lol.
Pic of the extremely strange Duncan. Yesterday it decided to close up for half the day, and then reopen come night time. I dunno corals are so strange to me. I still have no understanding of most of them.
Not all sponges are worrisome. Mine seem to be, but I have those ugly red ones. They've killed a couple of my acro frags - at least I'm fairly certain that it was the sponges.I found out I have sponges in my tank. I’m told they’re good, or not worriesome at least. Gives me something else to look at lol.
Pics of sponges and full tank shot. I dunno why I put the Shu box back in as there’s nothing to go in there currently. But I’ll find something eventually.
I may open up another commission. I need a lid for the macs and some stuff for the reef; test kits again and a barnacle as the one I currently have is starting to crumble.
The Duncan and toadstool seem to be doing well. GSP is growing slowly and the Kenya tree is starting to get going.
The Little Rock flower is still very small. But I think it’s cause I turned the whites up on the light. I was tired of just blue. Where’s the fun in an all blue tank, amirite? Also it’s about time for me to add my black blanket over the window cause the sun is very bright this time of year.
Pics as promised, of the reef, sponge and Atlas’ tank.
That’s good to know. I’ve tried to read up on them but most things say “Sponge bad!” LolNot all sponges are worrisome. Mine seem to be, but I have those ugly red ones. They've killed a couple of my acro frags - at least I'm fairly certain that it was the sponges.
