Slow and steady. A 20 gallon tank will teach you as much as a 200, but a whole lot more cheaply, and it will serve as a great quarantine tank when you upgrade.
Could be but water parameters are easier to maintain in a 65-plus tank, and many new reefers fail because of the swings in not being able to maintain stable parameters (everything you add or take makes a big difference), and things start to die.

That's the slow and steady part. It'll take months to stock the tank.
