I had a salt water tank 30+ years ago. My husband bought me a 55 gallon as a gift 10 years ago. At that time I visited a few of the Lfs in Orlando to get some ideas. My mind was blown by how much the hobby had changed. LRO was one of the stores I visited. I think I must have stood in front of one of their display tanks for at least 15 minutes mesmerized by what I saw. Life happened and it took a while for me to get motivated to get the tank going. I finally took the plunge this past year and started my reef tank. I have loved every minute of it.

Unfortunately got another coral dropped on it overnight because of a large turbo snail, but it's coming back around

I have had reef tanks for years but got out of it when I sold my house and moved in with my girlfriend (now wife). We were having our second child in 2022 and I told the wife, let’s get a tank…. Well, actually I said we are getting a tank. Started my aquaculture journey 60 years ago with a 5 gallon and angel fish. Spent my professional career growing trout in Idaho, then oysters and clams on the west coast. Needed more to do (!?!?) so started a reef tank during the pandemic shutdown. Pure craziness.
