Ok between trying to steal great deals. Wondering if anyone can help with my tank.

Started measuring with my new test kits and dosing yesterday to try and make the tank more appropriate for all my new babies! And strangely the Alkalinity seems to have jumped a bunch with what I did yesterday without changing the Calcium all that much which doesn't seem to make sense.

10/15/22
Salinity: 1.025
(API tests)
pH: 8
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 0

(Salifert tests)
Alk: 8.3
Calcium: 390
Magnesium: 1110

Dosed 4ml Brightwell reef code A, 4ml Brightwell reef code B, 5ml API Magnesium liquid.
Started using Redsea reef energy plus ab+ (1ml)

10/16/22
Alk: 9.3
Calcium: 390-400
Magnesium: 1170

Back off the Alkalinity ( i think that one is B) and just dose the mag and calcium. 8.3 to 9.3 is a significant jump so we dont want it to go up even more. Keep dosing the calcium and once you get it to 420 the alk should be at about 8.8 and then you can dose equal parts of both moving forward

Yes I just dosed equal parts and less than what they recommended the once. Ooops!!!

Do you think I am good to dose daily or should do every 2nd day? Tank will be due for a 10% water change in the next couple of days but shouldn't mess with things too much.
