Through no action that I am aware of, I have lost all the local connections to my ghl devices, in the main connection screen of GHL Connect. I'm having to add them back and reconfigure the dashboard screens. Has this happened to anyone anyone else?

I use my phone mainly. 2 days ago, I opened up the dedicated laptop, and when I opened the GHL icon, it was empty! Vinny sent me a walk along to fix it...I just haven't yet, as it's still working on my phone. Tomorrow is tank clean day, which takes up my entire day...so I will do that then. Hopefully, it fixes it.

What is the fix? How do you add them back? Local and hotspot.
No - I accepted to use only the cloud connection with my phone app - it works well nowadays - no need of local connection with the phone. However - there is also a problem with the dashboard of the local webserver (the one you use a web browser to connect with) It will reset to default if you connect to MyGHL with a browser (not the phone app). Till they have fixed that (there is a ticket) I use the local webbserver through my PC when I´m home and my phone app when I´m away

Sincerely Lasse

Hmmm. Came across this thread after asking a question about this on FB group a day or two ago, but the post hasn’t been approved yet.

Is this still an issue? The cloud version works for me while the local connection does not. No change in IP. All firmwares up to date.

This would be fine but the cloud version is much slower than my local connection. Also, the message that pops up randomly says MyGHL has moved, but to where? I can still access my device by going to myghl.com. Am I misunderstanding what moved?

I am having tremendous issues with connectivity.

1 - IOS app - spins forever trying to connect to my devices. Once in a while it will connect.
I am not having "network" or "firewall" issues.

2 - Using IOS app to connect to local IP of devices is fast... most of the time.

3 - using IP to go to gui works most of the time on desktop.

5 - On IOS (phone or ipad) trying to go direct to GUI create a downloaded .gzip file.

6 - KH director goes offline and/or P4 can't be logged into during certain parts of the measurement.... l

7 - When I do connect via the app, I am warned about notifications being turned. Off. I am tired of acknowledging that I understand. Why are they turned off? Because the P4 spams the living snot out of me with alarms that can't be silenced.

8 - My network and DNS and devices are just fine. But very often I am shown the popup about the app version and myghl being moved. As if it forgets it showed me.

If I am the only person having these problems then ignore more. However (to me) it feels like this is all getting (far) worse as of late and not better. Maybe DNS issues with the new hosted services or something. I don't know, but I am crippled here without the dashboard being easily available.

It has mostly been working fine for me, connecting from home. But connecting over the Internet, often doesn't work, even though I can connect from home. I was in Europe for a week a few weeks ago, and could hardly connect at all while I was there.

I can hardly connect via the iOS app if I am not at home. Like Beananimsl if I am at home using the app and the local ip connection it works well most of the time.

I think there are either some very serious resource issues or DNS/route issues. I just don’t have time to dig in and troubleshoot.

I am on a fiber connection and have enterprise grade hardware. Networking is part of my occupation. Nothing else behind this firewall has issues being reached and nothing has changed other than firmware on the GHL devices and whatever changes they make on their end. Things are just not useable right now.

GHL website is extremely slow and is frustrating for me to log on to. Either the USA store, the ticket platform or the international website... I don't think this is my end of problem..

The store, Myghl portal and cloud services are all hosted differently… but yes them store and ticket portal are slow from USA. I can live with that but not the dash connectivity issues I am having.
