Hey Rob,

What is an AI SOL? I guess I could think about a mounting bracket but my tanks sit on a desk that has a lip that sticks out a bit so the back isn't flush and I'm not sure what to attach a bracket to since the back piece of wood is where the drawers touch when they are pushed in. If that makes any sense?

SLUF681,

The light is still on the tank but I would be more than happy to take it off if you want to go over it and see if you see anything. I emailed Viper per Spongie's recommendation to see if they had any advice or would offer to work on it but they said that it was probably the ballast even though I told them that the ballast was new and that they could look in the warehouse for one of the units if I want them to and I could possibly purchase it.

Ha ha! It looks like I start working tomorrow so my time off is gone but I would be happy to somehow meet up with you? I'll check with my work schedule because if they schedule me at the north office I'll be at Tenova North Hospital which is your exit so perhaps I could meet you after work one day? I'll let you know.

Rob,
Nevermind, I found the sell post. That looks like such a tiny light! The led fixture that Spongie lent me is much bigger than that and we discussed that it isn't really suitable for the tank long-term but will help in the short term until I find a permenant fix. I don't understand led lights at all, will that tiny light, light up a 24 gallon tank? I tried looking online but all I can find is that it keeps saying that it is suitable for nano tanks and small tanks. So many people have different ideas of "nano"...

Just let me know. Knox County made plans for me to join them Friday for jury duty, then I go back to work Saturday and Sunday nights. If i could get it before saturday evening it would be awesome. That way I can take it to work with me.

The AI Nano is half of a regular AI Sol. The regular Sol lights up to 24"x24" area The Nano is good up to 18"x18" it has two LED clusters containing 10 3 watt LED's. AM on Clinton Highway has the fixture if you are interested in seeing it in person.

Here is a big shout out to SLUF681 for fixing my light fixture!!!! I picked it up last night, came home, set it back up and it works beautifully! Thanks again to everyone for their help from suggestions to the loaner led fixture to the head-scratching work that finally made it work. You guys saved my poor bank account much $$ and I am so grateful.

I'm not thread hijacking! Isn't this thread about Olivia's lighting difficulties? I commented on that part. I just skipped over Cory's post because I don't know anything about that.

OOOH! Gotcha. I'm glad he hijacked it. Hijack all the threads as far as I'm concerned. Let the discussion flow!
