The thing is light green and is about a foot long. It grows very fast.Does it actually look like a fuller version of this in person?

Yes, that is how I got mine. We have a very nice lfs in our local area.Out of curiosity, do you guys just find your leathers from walking into an LFS one day and finding it? Or do you plan it out a bit better?
Zero planning. I saw it in my LFS the day before I was going out of town, figured I wanted one so why not get this one. Zero planning but now it's too big for my tank. Its probably my favorite coral to take a pic of though, my fish like swimming around it and my inverts love hanging from it lolOut of curiosity, do you guys just find your leathers from walking into an LFS one day and finding it? I’m so glad I’m not the only one who walks into an LFS and not really have any plan of coral I’ll throw into my mixed reefZero planning. Same with this lil guy. Saw it and was like I want it Sooo I got it
Only 2 leathers in my tank, I would love one of those blue Kenyan trees though. Never seen it online for sale tho
Me three!I’m so glad I’m not the only one who walks into an LFS and not really have any plan of coral I’ll throw into my mixed reef
So far I’m at 6 leathers, two are green Kenya’s but I definitely agree, if I could get my hands on a blue kenya it would be amazing.
My first coral. Was a tiny little frag on a plug last summer. Starting to take off in growth lately. It's some kind of Sacropython, correct?
Yep, long tenacled neon green. They fetch a pretty good price around here!
+1… I’m with you !Guess I'm trying to say it kind of sometimes feels like softies as a category are looked down at a little bit in the hobby. As evidenced by the visitor comments, softies really should be regarded on the same level as any other corals.
