The thing is light green and is about a foot long. It grows very fast.

Out of curiosity, do you guys just find your leathers from walking into an LFS one day and finding it? Or do you plan it out a bit better?

Yes, that is how I got mine. We have a very nice lfs in our local area.

Zero planning. I saw it in my LFS the day before I was going out of town, figured I wanted one so why not get this one. Zero planning but now it's too big for my tank. Its probably my favorite coral to take a pic of though, my fish like swimming around it and my inverts love hanging from it lol

Same with this lil guy. Saw it and was like I want it Sooo I got it

Only 2 leathers in my tank, I would love one of those blue Kenyan trees though. Never seen it online for sale tho

I need a new camera but I just picked up a handful of leathers and feel inspired. They’re in Qt and/or being delivered next week but a few I’ve had in the display awhile.

A purple green polyp dura leather from Marine farmers. Live aquaria has had nice versions of a similar coral this week and I picked up two purple/green polyp leathers that are being shipped next week. Can’t wait to compare
