Lesions on Coral Beauty Angel

I'm not sure about these spots/lesions on my angel. It is on both sides of the head, on the side of the face and almost looks "hole" like? I've had them for a few months.
All parameters in the tank seem normal and I feed either Mysis or Brine shrimp x1 daily. I feed this angel, along with a clown and damsel. There aren't any signs of aggression between any and I feed well.
The only thing I could connect this to is that they like to glide along the glass sometimes? Could this be from stress? If yes, I'm not sure what else to do. I feel like I have enough hiding areas for the tank (Biocube 32)

How long did this take to show up?
It looks like head and lateral line erosion (hlle) to me. Usually it’s brought on by some stressor like diet or water quality.

This appears to be HLLE which is a skin and body erosion which cause pits and flesh missing mainly in tangs, angels and some rabbitfish. It is often caused by poor water quality, high use of carbon, poor water quality (elevated nitrate and ammonia) and inadequate/poor diet. It is not life threating in any way but offers secondary infection in some cases.
Maintaining GOOD water quality and diet are often the fixes and with severe cases, some healing.
Some foods to feed tang are :
LRS fish frenzy
Formula 2 flake and frozen
TDO Pellets
small plankton
Hikari Marine cuisine
Ocean nutrition veggie diet
spirulina brine shrimp
mysis shrimp
Prime reef


Add selcon vitamins to foods occasionally

I'll just point out for the fishes sake, that the tank is very small for that fish. And feeding mysis or brine once daily is not a healthy diet IMO. Even pellets have more nutritional value, but reef frenzy is really the best fish food.

That is head and lateral line erosion, HLLE. However, the fish also is a bit thin and has poor color. You need to vary the diet more (include NLS pellets or similar) and increase the feedings to twice a day.

Do you see the fish scratch or flash on surfaces? That is a sign of flukes, and those can cause pale coloration as well.

I don't see the fish scratch or flash on the surface, more just like looking and gliding with their reflection??
It seems like the conclusion is that the diet needs to be changed and more frequently. I went ahead and ordered some of the NLS pellets as well. Will update!
