soft corals like dirtier water also. New tanks either are great for this or terrible. Need to know nitrates and phosphates as these corals like plenty of each.
^This ^ I have a lot of flow and I still have to help them along with a baster when they are shedding. Not opening isn't too alarming. I had a smaller one that just finished shedding and is bigger and brighter than ever but it had me a little worried because is stayed shriveled up for 3 weeks. Ussualy 1-2 weeks and they open back up. Mine also get pouty if handled and close up for a day or twoleathers generally like higher flow IME.

You can try blowing it off with a turkey baster. It can't hurt anything. I would blow the whole thing off just incase it is shedding.I just noticed it seems to have a wet patch on it so maybe it’s currently shedding
