This would be a great question for @saltyfilmfolksI have been pondering the idea of using some led products I found for lighting. I would be using my existing 4 A360WE lights for blue and UV.
This is what I found. Tell me what you think.
#reefsquad.
This first light is a 400watt MH replacement and is insanely bright at 18,000 lumen but dimmable.
This one can run at 3 different color temperatures and is 1600 lumens and dimmable.
I think my main thoughts are trying to combat the high cost of lighting a tank thi size. 49'' × 6'
It would definitely be interesting. This would be a great question for @saltyfilmfolks
I can't see any reason it wouldn't work as long as you are happy with the light color.
Interested in what the input from R2R experts will say on the lights. Not a bad deal at 99$
Thank you for the reply. This would be a great question for @saltyfilmfolks

Its worth a shot. Like you said return them if they don't work. I think if they were not dimmable then it would be a no go.I say try the lights. HD has a great return policy. Three months down the road you don’t like, box them up and return. Save receipt
And you can take one for the team and see if they work for our tanks [emoji1417]
