Should I paint the stand. This ones for fun and not so serious.

Agreed with buying the wife items of equal valve! I think ur off to a good size system !
Yes going from a 210 I had to at least double the display size and of course if I could have the biggest sump possible than why not. I really wanted two more feet in length but I had the 6 foot glass. Should make me happy for awhile lol. Next tank after this will need a fish room behind it.

Fixing the cracks with this. I know the epoxy sticks to it because I used it on the overflow box.
It's Cyanocrylate.

I use this stuff t0 bond wood together and yes I know it's reef safe so I'm not too worried about it it's stronger than the epoxy on the seams so I'm going to repair the seams were they cracked add the wood supports in the stand screw everything together and water tested again before I bring it in house.

It’s super.....super glue

I made a light holder for the refugium part of the sump. I used some PVC panel and cut out the light shape minus a half inch then used a 3/8 notch router bit and cut out a spot for it to sit in. The light is a old 155e reef radiance I had lying around. I think It will have enough light for the chateo. Hehe.

What you think about that!
