What to do next if you were me? I am relatively new to here. I was inspired by Schitts reef to do a weekly progress report on my tanks progress, to learn and improve. So here we are, 16g biocube with reefi uno 2.1 light, bubble magus mini skimmer, stock pump, Jebao wave maker and Aqqa 100w heater. Started the tank 5 months ago with Red Sea live sand, inert Red Sea rock, and it cycled quite well. Had some nitrite to nitrate issues early days, but with some ammonia and aquaforest bacteria worked through it. Using aquaforest reef salt+. I have a RO/DI water filter. The tank stabilized about 6 weeks ago, and added clownfish, montis, zoas, frogspawn 10 various snails, and a couple of other corals week by week. 20% weekly ware changes. All parameters are normal. If it can be measured and adjusted, I am doing it. I use a seeded polybrick in the centre rear slot below the skimmer, with chemi pure above. Also using the stock filter replacing bi-weekly and some poly wool between the skimmer and the pump chamber. I used to run 200g tank with halides/T5 but that was in the early 2000s. This is more like juggling than playing ball and is hard work… what would you do to improve my setup? I am keeping it solidstate, nothing external :) thank you, there are some breathtaking reefs on here and I am humbled. Kong.

So a week later and I have done nothing, except a water change and I found that my hammer and candy canes had Vermatid
snails on the stems. Candy canes were any easy destruction using frag cutters, the hammer was too far gone, so I cut the base off and reset it.. it is soooo happy now!! I must have imported them from LFS as they were both from the same place, different from the rest. After a big inspection I think I caught them early
