Soon... soon... stay tuned, they are almost here (US warehouse)

Do you think we could bug the folks at the US CBP for a picture or unboxing video to hold everyone over? :p

Worth a shot! Anybody know a guy? Good to know they are that close!

Yeah, someone with some real answers would be great. It seems every couple of weeks the date gets pushed. I would like to hear from GHL US. I don't want a video or picture of someone opening a box of what I've paid for but don't have. I want what I paid for, or at least a date that I will have it that isn't going to keep changing. My entire sump build has been waiting on this piece for a couple of months now.

The Good news is the KHD's are on US Soil... The bad news is, they are held up in customs, awaiting clearance.
There have been 2 shipments of KHDs to the US warehouse, sent a week apart, both are sitting in the same place now.

We are anticipating both shipments clearing before EOW, we're hopeful that it happens sooner than later. There has been no shortage of calls and emails with all parties involved, and the issues have been escalated with the customs specialists.. There really isn't much we can say at this time, as our hands are tied. Until the shipments are released, we won't know when we will expect delivery.

Hang tight folks - we're almost there!
We will post up once we have taken delivery of the shipments in our US Warehouse.

I’ve just spent a couple of hours setting up the pipe work and calibrating the pumps and ph probe, one huge improvement over other ghl products is the manual it is logical and step wise. For now I’m just monitoring Alk and have just run first test came in at 5.9 rather than the 6.6 my hanna checker gave me, so low anyway so going to correct over next few days and run lots of simple tests to get a feel for it. Just run a second test which came in at 6.6 dkh so I’ll see how it settles down. Im not sure what to set the container size for the tank water in as, as I don’t want it alarming all the time so set to 30000ml and emptying and set the waste container to 1500ml with alarm at 1400ml and set to fill container, one concern here is how often the rear overflow is going to trigger as this flows into this container as well so will upset the levels... time will tell, i may end up setting a Davy Jones locker on here as I don’t want it overflowing. I’ll keep you all posted..

so first test at 5.9 then second at 6.6...is this because of some priming or initializing or something? not what you would expect long term of course?

I’m not sure, I’m just seeing what happens over the next day or 2, maybe with the calibrating and flushing etc it takes a few cycles to normalise..

One thing I’ve changed already is the waste container, from what I can tell it fills 200ml a test, so as I’m running 8 tests a day to see how things go, changed to 5000ml container... don’t want wet floors.

Don't forget to keep an eye on salinity at 8 tests a day. Let us know how it goes!

Yeah I know I can adjust the Maxi doser I use for AWC to compensate. Ill reduce the tests to 2 a day once I’ve seen how it performs I can’t see much benefit in doing more than that, but time will tell.

That's my plan, to use the maxi doser to replace. You're gonna be a week or so (at least) ahead of me, so will be following along to see how it goes. I may (will) need help when it comes to setting it all up!

How much awc are you doing per day with the maxi? Has that been going smooth?

Is there an expiration on the reagent? I plan on getting and using a 5000ml container which I plan to keep full at all times.
