I didn't even buy their mounting hardware other than the paw, because I didn't want to re do my screen tops to cut out around the brackets. So I had planned on doing a diy hanging mount from the beginning. I'm sure their mounting hardware works fine, I just didn't want to use it.
Very similar approach to the Ecotech and RedSea mounting kits...would have worked..but if you are happy with DIY....outstanding!!!

It looks like the factory mounting also blocks a lot of the fan, but I may be wrong about that. The way I have mine leaves the fans mostly unblocked. I wish mine left the fans as open as yours does.

I went to the hardware store and just bought 0.5 metric screws and screwed the light directly to my AL hybrid light bracket and avoided the claw all together. VERY sturdy.

Do you remember the diameter of the screws?
Thanks

.5 is the pitch, I believe the diameter is 3.

I still have some spares at home I can probably confirm theyre a m3 bolt in a few hours if I can find the packaging.

Im mechanically inclined but by no means a mechanic. I went to a local ace hardware and did the trial and error method.

I just took one of the factory screws that I had (but weren't long enough) and ran it through a die to get the size.

I'm pretty sure it's a 3mm-.5 but not 100% positive.

The center hole on the x law is 4mm.
I'm looking for diameter of other 4 threaded holes where the law attaches to the lights.
I believe he is talking about the older light which only had 2 mounting holes so it makes it would've used a bigger fastener.

Some note:

1. m3 and m4
mounting screw.jpg

2. Need to be fully stitched then can work.

3. 【Timer error】 in automatic mode

When you want to cross 23:59/00:00 to set the lights---Change the brightness of the light to switch the light on and off. The key is that the time should be the same as the serial number, from small to large(1-8).
The correct setting is:

Ok, I hooked my lights and controller.
The light on the controller is not coming on?
Also the booklet mentions a SD card. Mine appears not to have one. I even double checked the packaging.
Is there suppose to be one?

If we are talking about the new controller with the K7 V3 then mine does not use an SD card as far as I know. There isn't even a slot for an SD card is there (sorry I'm not home to look at mine)? As soon as I plugged the power cord into the controller the screen came on and allowed me to pair it to the lights to set them up.

Yes, talking about the new controller.
Mine appears to have a slot on the right side for a SD card. The pamphlet even mentions it and even shows to download software onto the SD card.
