Hello, was wondering best method to remove motor lid. I don't want to break it or damage it. It is glued on

Hello, the motor cap is held on with a hot melt adhesive so simply heating the top with heat gun/hair dryer etc will release the bond. After you replace the motor you can simply reheat and press back into place.
