Bryopsis is a genus of green macroalgae with many of its relatives being popular, ornamental species, such as Caulerpa, Chlorodesmis, Codium, Halimeda, Penicillus, Rhipocephalus, and Udotea (and some not so desirable algae, such as Green hair algae (Derbesia)) though I assume your mention of “macroalgae” refers to its desirable members instead.
