+1 for Hanna. I'm gonna get as many Hanna checkers as I can. Although I hear the Ca Checker leaves something to be desired. For that I'll use Red Sea Calcium Pro. 15 years ago, it was all about Salifert. Now, there are other, better options.4+ year tank with zero phosphate?
Salifert very very hard to tell any change at all.
You can bump that a tad, but Hanna phosphate or phosphorus checker helps me a ton manage that number.
So if I stop All for Reef for a bit everything should equal out correct?
Any ideas on the algae issues how to solve?Alk will decline. Calcium will fall a small amount (~19 ppm for each 2.8 dKH of alk decline). You won't notice any actual magnesium consumption.
So is mine, but when read by my Hanna, it’s 0.23.I'm sure I have some phosphate due to having algae but the test was as clear as water
