Nope. Suck it.

Mel I honestly like a little bit of everything. Let me make a frag and I'll post some pics of it and let y'all decide what it's worth to ya. If y'all only knew how little I paid for it, less than half of what the smallest frag that is currently for sale on r2r. I'm not lookin to get anything greater in value than what I paid for it from fellow club members. I will frag as I can so everyone can get a piece that wants one.
Awesome. What is one of those frags currently going for?

Yes to Facebook. Sunday, July 22nd, 2:00PM.
I'm on it.

I've decided to make Cornish Hens, BBQ Pork, Garden Fresh Green Beans (we planted way too many).

Make and bring what ever fancies your palate.
Our home again is kid friendly, we have kid friendly food on hand as well.
Adult beverages are welcome also (but no DRINKING & DRIVING!!!!)

Lots to talk about, frag swap feedback, BOD elections and future club activities.

I'm not sure what I'll bring. Probably dessert since I'm always late. That or I'll be on time and bring an appetizer.

Ok, so Justin, Seth and Spencer are not going to be at this meting. I think we need to use the forum for the 2012/2013 BOD nominations?

I've read previous threads and it seems this has been done this way.

Who want's to start?

We start nominations at the club meeting. Then the nominations continue until the end of the month. This is designed to give those that could not attend the meeting, a chance to nominate someone. After the two week nomination process, I will make sure all those folks that have been nominated desire to serve on the BOD and also that they are eligible, (current members - dues paid for the upcoming year), then I will post the list and we will vote online. The timing is based on giving those folks that are away from a computer, vacation or business or whatever, a chance to nominate and vote. The person that does the administration of the nominations and voting is usually one who is not in the contest. This year it can be me.

I hate to tell ya but we're not doing it that way. Since we're holding it early, people who are already paid up are going to be elligible. Also we're holding nominations online as well as at the meeting. We're also not having you tally votes. I think we need someone a little more impartial for that...maybe Seth. I'll ask him later.

Might I also add, when you want to quit the club early you should tell the members that's why you're holding elections early rather than that you're going to be out of town when it's time for elections...AND you don't get to change all the rules because you want to hold the elections early.

Members in good standing at the time of elections are allowed to be officers, which means that this time people who haven't paid dues for the next year are allowed. I wrote those bylaws and I know their original intent. It was not intended to force people to pay dues to get to vote. It was just meant to ensure that people who are active in the club get to be an officer.

I think the members are adults and if they end up being an officer we can trust them enough to pay their dues when they're actually due...by September 1. We should treat people like the adults that they are, no offense.
