So many things were missed. I have not read the books but I listen to In Deep Geek quite a bit and he covers that universe pretty indepth. So, I've gotten a lot of insight into the other storylines that were skipped.
I'm more of a Tolkien fan and have read all of his works extensively though. Not sure if I want to take on ASOIAF considering I would never get an ending to the story....

My favorite theory about what will happen with in the war with the Knight King has to do with the Starks and why they burry their dead in the crypts below Winterfell and the Horn Of Winter. If the books ever get that far and it turns out to be true, then I will forever hate the shows more than I do for how they ended things.

It took me a full year to read all the books between college breaks. I fully expected the last two books to be released by now. Boy was I wrong lol.

I pretend the last season (last two really) don’t exist. I know they’ll never redo the show (at least with the current cast) but that was a huge gut punch.
