@Joe Knows Reefs you mentioned getting back to us within 12hrs and i haven’t heard anything. Are you still honoring your word of contacting us for resolution within 12hrs ? Otherwise why do the try to save face posts and look even more foolish??

I hate to pile on.. but he offered 200% store credit after saying that his business is being paused indefinitely. At this point I think it's in our banks/Credit card companies hands to get our money back lol

We are VERY aware of what’s going on here. We are also discussing this issue from an R2R administration standpoint. Our hope is that each one of you will get a positive resolution that works for you, from Joe Knows Reefs, within the next 24 hours. This is not okay. We are closely monitoring this situation.

Rev I was wondering if you’re still in contact with Joe about this issue or if he’s not responding to you as well. If he was going to make good on refunds I wasn’t going to file a claim with the CC. Just wanted to check before doing so. Thank you

I am curious if anyone has been contacted since the 3 options were offered? Like Saminpa I was going to wait until filing a cc dispute.

Nope. I've already filed with my bank and CC company, no point in waiting IMO. He either issues a refund and that closes the disputes or he continues to not respond and my bank/CC company forces him to respond/refund. That's how I see it anyways

Totally agree with Cheezle and have also put in a dispute with my credit card company. Sorry it had to come to this. Good luck to all including Joe.

I've been waiting too on a order too back since May 28th and tried every way possible to get the corals. I even tired to work out when it was best for him to pick and ship out and still have not received my corals. I asked him for a refund now and haven't heard nothing since I asked. Not really sure what's going on cause I've bought from him before and it was always on point. Last thing he said was he was going to ship out my package for weekend delivery and cover the expenses but it never happend so I asked for a refund since it's been months of trying.

So this just confirms that there were serious issues before this last sale. I really can’t wrap my head around this whole situation. Good grief.

I don’t know exactly what is going on but I know that what has taken place isn’t right and isn’t fair to the customers. Joe has been a good sponsor of this community for many years and I hope and pray that he is able to overcome these obstacles. I hope that all of you affected get a refund and your issues resolved.

Thanks for everything Rev. We know this wasn’t R2R or your fault. I’m over it and participated in the POTO sale Saturday snagging a few things. Have a great holiday!!!!

See here’s why I have an issue. You didn’t participate in this sale, you didn’t spend your hard earned money in this sale, you weren’t given a month long runaround with this sale.

Joe is not the only one who experiences challenges in life. You want a story, I’ll give you one. 6 weeks ago, 2 days after being diagnosed, I had cancer removal surgery. The day after that surgery, my wife’s mother passed away!!!

Participating in this sale was something enjoyable for me during a very tough time in life, being successful in this hobby is soothing for me.

With everything said, are you or your friend Joe considering my situation or anyone else’s for that matter? Considering what we all are going through in life, our hardships we encounter?

I had two choices 6 weeks ago with my situation. I could pick up the pieces or I could failI myself, my family, and my friends. I chose to fight sir, so that I didn’t affect other lives.

So I’ll end with saying this. Please don’t tell us to chalk this up as an acceptable loss and move on with our lives, that’s easy for you to do in response to a friendship, and a business you hold a stake in. We have all tried for weeks to continue communication with Joe and simply get what we paid for, only to be lied to, and be fed false promises. We are entitled to either receive our goods we paid for or a simple refund and you sir have no right to ask us to consider otherwise………..
I am very sorry that you went thru what you said and this on top of it. I hope you are doing better.

As it stands, business operations will be hitting the pause button for an undetermined amount of time, begining this week. In the interim, I would like to offer a solution to everyone involved.

If you have yet to receive your order or resolution,
PLEASE REPLY HERE IN THE THREAD OR SEND AN EMAIL TO SALES AT JOEKNOWSREEFS DOT COM. In the title of the email, please use the following format:
*CLEANUP for J. Smith Order 11120*

Just use first initial and last name and one of your order numbers. I will reply within 12 hours and we'll get you squared away.


OTHERWISE, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM POSTING FURTHER REPLIES IF NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS FINAL GROUP OF CUSTOMERS.

For a resolution, we will extend to each affected customer the following 3 options:

1 - SHIPPING - Ship on one of the following weeks: 9/12-10/3. If you choose this option, you will be issued a livestock credit equal to 50% of your original order totals (minus shipping Module). I.e. if your original orders totaled $100 without the shipping module, you will IMMEDIATELY be issued a $50 livestock credit which CAN BE USED IMMEDIATELY and all items will shipped together.

2 - LIVESTOCK CREDIT - no shipping or refund. Receive 200% of original total purchase in livestock credit for use after 10/3

3 - Refund and $25 credit

Not sure what is going on, but wishing you the best. I have faith that you will get through whatever it is you’re dealing with and will make right.

I do not have order numbers, just the text messages from you because we have done business many times previously because we met on here. I do not want a refund. When you get things settled, please reach out and we can figure out a way to make it right.

For now, focus on you and your family.
