I decided to go ahead and Pull trigger on a tank I have been looking for awhile now. I ordered a Deep Sea Aquatics Neo 105. I am having it custom built with three panels being made out of Starphyre Glass. I put my money down and I am waiting on an lead Time from them. In the mean time I put together an equipment list.

here is the tank:

Congrats and good luck with the new tank. I was looking into the DSA 105 NEO pro also (but just the stock configuration)
There website list the pro setup as having 2 drain & 2 return holes but they don't list the holes sizes. Could you tell me the sizes?
Im trying to put together a list of stuff I have and/or would need for the build before I pull the trigger. I have a ton of PVC parts laying around my garage.
Hopefully I could pull this off with just buying the tank and stand. Thanks

Ok. Thanks. Appreciate the quick response. I'll email them in the morning. Also after viewing this thread I'm to pumped up. Going to LFS in the AM to order the NEO 105. Lol. Wife is going to flip.
Another tank to play with. How's does that saying go " It's better to beg for forgiveness than to ask permission" lol. P.S. The LFS sells them but only special order. They don't keep any on the floor so they don't know the hole sizes

So I cant help but sit around and plan this new tank. DSA just got to me and said that they had gotten in more starphyre glass and within the next few weeks my tank should be built and shipped out. So Here I sit looking at stock lists and such and I wanted to get your opinions

Besides Clowns, which I really want to get a set of Long Fins from SA. I am thinking about these fish. Obviously I cant put them all in a 105 gallon tank...

What are your recommendations?

Exquisite Wrasse

Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse

Scott's Fairy Wrasse

vila fairy wrasse male

Yellow Tang

Chevron Tang

Flame Angel

Hippo Tang

Copper Band Butterfly

Dispar anthias

Sunburst Anthias

Exquisite Wrasse -- good temper but highly variable coloring

Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse -- good temper

Scott's Fairy Wrasse -- can get aggressive towards other fairy wrasses and hard to keep male colors in captivity

vila fairy wrasse male -- can get aggressive

Yellow Tang

Chevron Tang -- very pretty when young, pretty much brown when older

Flame Angel -- risk to your corals but results vary

Hippo Tang

Copper Band Butterfly -- tough fish IMO

Dispar anthias -- don't know much about this one

Sunburst Anthias -- good choice, hardy once acclimated

Not to deviate from the main discussion, but it is sorta pertinent to Josh. Did anyone else hear about the word going around that DSA has shut down? Multiple posts across other forums about them closing their doors, and also one comment on their FB page. The fact that Josh heard back from them yesterday means they are probably still up and running but others have had little luck with them responding to them.

As far as i know they are still in business lol. I spoke with Lori in their purchasing department recently. Who knows lol.

As long as yours is moving along that's awesome! Here's a quote another forum. Who knows what the truth is ... but there seems to be chatter across multiple outlets.

"LFS owner here-
Got news yesterday they released employees and the president quit.
No response on cell to owner, foreman, or the office phone.
I was reading the news and was thinking , good thing I don't have any customs on order...
Then I remembered I have a 800 gallon tank, a 300 gallon tank and a couple small ones on order with over 10k in deposits to them.
Not sure if it's worse that Im in the dark on specifics of that I've most like lost my tanks and investment.
**** day for me"

So now what do I do? imthe only one who ordered the Neo 105 so the tank is men if I want it but I have to order a stand from different maker, have a custom stand made or get completely different tank and stand. Any suggestions?
