Does anyone have any horror stories with their dosing pumps or do they work as intended?

I’ve had mine running since April it is the WiFi controlled 4 head unit. I have not had any problems with the function of the controller. I dose
Phyto
All for reef
Aminos
Soda ash

The heads have been fine I did have one of the tubings have a small leak which I swapped out. The interface is not very user friendly and you cannot dose less than 1mL so that may or may not be a problem for you. You also can’t dose more than 24 times a day which is not ideal for me but it is a cheap product so ya know. You get what you pay for

That’s helpful, thank you. All I need is to dose my Sodium Bicarbonate and AFR, with perhaps a Calcium down the road. And it’s only 30ml/15ml per day so not a big demand. As long as it can do 3 doses of each per day, I’d be happy.

I’ve been very happy with mine so far. Calibration is easy and the interface is adequate just not as easy as I’d like.

Haha, for 1/5 of the price, I’m willing to make some programming concessions as you are.

I have been using jebao dosing pumps for almost 10 years now. I had the old big box one and now the wifi ones. Never had an issue. I use them for dosing things that dont need super high accuracy. My Alk, Cal, Mag and kalk are all on a Dos. My trace elements are on my jebao

I’ve had nothing but problems with mine , air getting in tubes , missing doses , auto run program switching off
For your life support I won’t ever trust jebao again

I'd say get a wifi model. I used a 3 channel basic jeabo doser for years, it did fine. Only gripe is that the internal clock would drift, so I had to reset the clock periodically. It never lost programming, just the dosing time drifted 10-15 minutes.

I've had one for three years now. The doser works fine, but I've had major problems several times with the programming. The problems seem to have arisen when Jebao modified their wifi app. I lost the connection to my phone and had a real struggle getting everything to link back together.

More recently, everything seems to be working correctly. So, I assume the current version of the software from the App store has been fixed.

Will it just continue to do its job if its not connected to wifi ? Also id power goes out will it be erased or go back to its normal settings ? thanks

The settings are stored in the doser. So, the wifi only needs to work when you want to make a change. Power outages do not erase the settings.
