I love it. It is one of my favs, I dont really care about all the "names" as long as it lives and is pretty! LolLeslie, I was looking at that same toadstool. I have one already but thought about it for a min.
got my 1st order from them a cpl days ago.
I think I have an aussie bright neon polyops but with a pink/tank skin so prob. aussie. i'll post a pic just to keep the thread going and get an confirmation ID.
I also picked one up from him a couple of months ago. It is doing great and is solid florescent green.I just picked one of from Zeppelin on RC. It is solid florescent green; very nice piece.
I believe I have a Japanese toadstool. I'm unsure of how to tell, but I've had this one for 5 months now and it has barely grown at all. Are there other characteristics that tell them apart?
Either way I love this piece and can't wait for it to grow!
how much did you pay and how big? Only reason I ask is bc there is one about 2 hour drive away from me for $50 and it's less than 2" tallJust got one for my tank last night.
Which do you prefer based on color and movement? How is growth different? My true deep water Japanese came from cornbred direct about 12 months ago. Much different in growth compared to my Tyree toadstool.
I for sure prefer the Deepwater version. It’s much brighter but the growth is significantly slower. Both prefer high flow medium light.Which do you prefer based on color and movement? How is growth different?
