I found at least 10 of these….. I think it’s aiptaisa
this is why we inspect and dip!

but yeah I can say I haven't gotten any on my last 3 or 4 orders from WWC

but no vendor is impervious to pests and hitchhikers thats why you have to do your own dips or QTs to protect yourself

Instructions as per wwc says not to dip for at least 10-24 hours after adding corals to the reef… I took all the plugs off and dipped regardless of instructions and now have all corals in a 10gallon qt. All frags were very healthy and puffed up as soon as I put them in qt but some of these aiptaisa were huge. If they really inspected them b4 shipping there’s no way they would have missed these. I spent a lot of $ on these corals.

You did the right thing removing the plugs and dipping anyway.
But for being WWC, and the prices we pay for these pieces, they should not come with such an abundance of harmful pests.

Or at least be honest and come with free dip and better instructions.

To @ WWC
defense it does say they are not perfect and to inspect and turkey baste all pieces before adding them and I know that there will always be some pests and that’s why we dip but I was just a little disappointed in the number and size of some of these aiptaisa.
