So I just measured my tanks parameters and my phosphates are higher than I've ever seen them at .2. They're usually around the .05 range. I'm not sure what changed to cause them to rise so much. Anyone have some tips on how to lower it.

GFO, super small dose for that. 25% of the recommended (in reactor).
I stay around .1 with GFO and a 4' skimmer, my acros do not mind and it gives you a bit or room for error.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will use gfo if necessary, but I was leaning toward adding some macro algea first. I have a fuge section in my sump that I've never really used because my nutrient levels have always been low. I just have to find somewhere to get some clean chaeto.

I run my fuge on a reverse lighting schedule. I’ll probably be harvesting here soon.

Ironically I've been running my fuge light on a reverse cycle even though there is nothing in there. Besides a small amount of nuisance algea and a lot of mulm, bristle worms, and planaria.
