Yea I made sure of that. It isn't a toy gun.
He clearly didn't take it trick or treating. Just held it for the picture.

He's been to the range with me a few times. I think he knows enough even then to not put a finger on the trigger. The basic rules have been preached to both of my kids since they were little.

The key is to start early. As soon as my kids were old enough to understand I started beating it into their heads.

Definitely. Plenty of people would disagree but to me, it’s up to the individual person to decide their view when they’re older but teach them about it when they’re young.

One of my coworkers shot a gun for the first time when she was in her mid-20s. She understands why people want them and is not anti-gun but for her, she’ll never own one cause she doesn’t see the need to have that much power in your hands.

My parents were strongly anti-gun and then I took dad shooting, and now he only hates the "Evil Black Rifles". Which is progress I suppose.
