Bottom has been sealed. Top trim has been finished. All nails wood filled and sanded, all gaps filled in, hopefully finish bottom trim today, get a few supplies, and plumb tomorrow... :)

Still need to make the corner trim peices.

May not get wet until next weekend at this rate.

Near disaster in the current frag tank Tuesday. Despite a nem gaurd the largest bubble tip nem found the power head. It gave itself a substantial hair cut. The water was cloudy and there were bits of nem everywhere. I did a 15 gallon water change, vacuumed out the nem peices and tried to get some carbon going. I did not lose any fish. I did lose 1 teal trumpet, a torch, a chalice, 2 acros, and all my pink Hyacinth birdsnest (fine yesterday rtn today). Everything else looks as good as it has been. Here is a pic from yesterday.

Today I got the plumbing stuff for the new system. I got the drains roughed in. I'll make final adjustments and actually glue it tomorrow.

I thought I bought extra Ts and elbows and unions. Turns out... not enough elbows.
This is going to be a weird plumbing job. My return pump might be a bit to big to many gph..... the exit from the pump is 1.5 inches. The returns and loc line are 3/4 inch... so 50% reduction. What I plan to do is T off the return before reducing and put water back into the first sump chamber. I'll control how much with a valve. I run natural systems. Water movement only. No mechanical no skimmer. Lots of rock (in sump).
