why I quit riding when I was in my 20's.
grew up in the sticks where we could off road it.
had enough trouble with trees jumping in front of me and my younger bro going the wrong way on a trail where we met head on.
broke my left (fretting) hand. I was gonna be a rock star.
clueless drivers was excitement I didn't need.
you used to be handsome. now you got character.
glad you're ok.
could buy a lot of corals selling off the bike.

Wow dude glad your relatively OK. Cant believe she just left. Hope you got her license or something and created a report. I know thats a painful recovery, road rash is no joke. Hugs brother!Non reefing update so it's in my journal....
Car pulled out in front of me todsy on my motorcycle. Had to jam on the brakes and laid it down at like 35 or 40 mph to avoid hitting her... she stopped long enough to ask if I was ok then left. Another motorist called 911 for me...
I am beat up but I'm fine. Nothing major broken or internal injuries.
PSA: always wear your helmet please. I was going only .15 miles from the park where I had dinner with my son to the storage unit I keep my bike in... this could have been so much worse.

My bike jacket hangs on the post at the bottom of the stairs handrail, bike keys in the pocket, seen too much gravel picked out of people over the years, I hate that I have to wear a helmet by law but they do work.

I was stupid and in a hurry. Had I been wearing my normal gear I'd have a buggered knee and that's it... I got very lucky. Normally I have jacket, gloves, and helmet...
Never again will I ride without...

"Baby" tang is doing very well in its gulf rock and xenia observation tank... flower as she has been named enjoys mysis shrimp, nori, and grazing on all the stuff on the gulf rock.
