My daughter caught her first 'Big Mouth Bass' on an artificial lure last month. She was so happy she started a feud between my two kids.
lol...You're so stoked when one gets an achievement; but it sucks when they rub it in the nose of their sibbling.

I used fish Northerly Island in Chicago and would give her sunburn on her feet in one of those kid carrying backpacks when I lived downtown. She loved it; would pass out - there was a little tent that would pop-up and keep everything... except her feet shaded...
Of my two, she's the outdoor-sy one. Its fitting she got the fish.

kitchen reno... counters used to be brown 2'x2' marble tile with a natural stone backsplash. I met a good stone guy in the fall. he had a really good deal on quartz recently.
But now I need to do the whole downstairs...
