Is this starfish reef safe? If not, are there any other starfish besides bristle starfish that are?

I assume this is at your lfs, if so I really wouldn't buy it. Starfish(with the exclusion of brittle stars) are probably the hardest thing to keep in this entire hobby.

It’s not, and why?
There isn't enough known about how they feed and most can live months without food so most of the time they end up quietly starving, especially in less established tanks. They need VERY stable parameters fluctuations in ph, salinity, and temperature can kill them.
